So, a week and a half later and the toe looks stupid. Anyone who knows me knows that in the summer or anytime one can wear sandals in lieu of socks and shoes, I'm doing it and that requires pretty toes to wear the open toed shoes....My toes are not pretty now, bummer for me! I try to explain this to JY (who makes fun of the ugly toe, which we'll refer to as UT) he laughs at me so I try to explain it to him in terms he'll understand.....It's like your car, once you find a door ding or you have a rather large imperfection on your car, you know it's there and you HATE it - it's like that with the UT, do you understand??? JY doesn't, he just says I have a UT (no, not UTI, UT see above). Boys are so stupid. Neosporin is the best thing ever invented, my opinion, just had to throw that in there you know my kind of commercial or something.
Not much going on around the Y's house this week. The girls both were gone on Friday night at friend's houses so JY and I, having the joint to ourselves went grocery shopping for the big CY-Hawk game on Saturday. I think I was on the couch by 1030p snoozing away. Nice night without the children :) Saturday we got together with the Richardson's to watch the Cyclone's go against the Hawks - The Richardson's and I were sporting the ISU gear while JY was sporting the U of I gear and pointed out that if the Hawks won he was going to ram it down our throats like we 'supposedly' did to him last year. Who, us?? I don't think so mister. Well as you all know, the Clones lost and I owe my boss a beer....We spent the entire day with the Richardson's not leaving until 1230a that night :)
Sunday I couldn't wake the children up from the dead to go to Sunday School, so I'm a bad mom and let them sleep in instead. Allyson proceeded to dump an entire bowl of Spaghetti o's on my living room floor. Mom, Julie, BFF, her mom and I went to the movie - The Women. What a great movie that was. Total chick flick, highly recommended by all of us that you see it!! While there we saw a whole host of other movies we want to see and plan on doing just that, a little girl day once in a while keeps ya sane :)
That's it, pretty lame huh?? No one lost a toe nail, no one had a birthday, no one broke their leg since the last time I wrote so somethings bound to happen soon....Have a great week!!
