Everybody has em', right? For those who know me, who've lived in the same house as me or who've grown up with me know that one of my biggest pet peeves is eating with your mouth open with chomping gum coming in a VERY close second. It's just gross, I mean, didn't your mother teach you any manners?? I'm not above telling my kids, my nieces/nephews, my friends or my husband that they sound like cows when they eat. It's just how I am, I can't help it. It's bad enough if I have the displeasure of sitting in front of you while your eating, I really don't want the play by play.
Why am I getting so cranky about this now?? In the words of Fire Marshall Bill, Let me tell ya sumthng (I meant to spell it that way). I started a new job in January (again, yeah) in a small office in Indianola. I love it, love the location, love the job I'm doing, EVEN love the person I share a job with (Jodi Rocks!!). What I don't love is that I sit about 5 desks away from the most disgusting gum chewer. She must be an x-smoker because, DUDE, she works that gum like there is no tomorrow, no kidding. It takes all the control in me to stay seated and not get up and rip her a good one. It's so bad that I've asked to be moved to the other side of the office. The funny thing is, I'm the only one who's noticed. Are you kidding me??
So, that's my b*tch. Please, when your around me, keep the food in your mouth and the mouth closed. That's all I ask.
