If you couldn't tell, Jeff and I are pretty proud of what our kids can do!! Jeff thinks he can take all the credit for our athletic children...not so much. He may have gone out for sports while I didn't, choosing instead to manage (cool word for water girl) the teams I supported, he thinks he is the dominant gene at work here. I say Bull Shark (sad to say Allyson taught us this little phrase). I spent many a year at Nancy's Triple T doing what they are doing. Ok, maybe not exactly what they are doing, but close enough right?? Ok, so not even close but I taught Emily how to do her first cartwheel and Allyson, well, she learned by watching because by god we weren't going to get her into any fancy dance outfit or shiny white tap shoes!! As silly as this all seems to you reading this, these are the kinds of conversations Jeff and I have. He's constantly trying to compete with me, and let's face it, it's really no contest :)
All kidding aside, we couldn't be more proud at the amazing things our girls are doing!! They win and lose the same way, with a smile on their face....because, duh, mom's taking a picture. We won't talk about the many teeny, tiny trophies Emily has wanted to throw in the trash because she didn't want to be reminded of getting last place...but AFTER mom gets a picture of me in last place, right?? LOL. You gotta love em'!!
