I didn't really know how I felt about this until I pulled into the cemetery today...It felt right and it felt good. It was so great seeing all of Jeff's family in one place, getting to talk to them and of course being a part of such a special occasion.
Thank you Deb for putting this together and providing the balloons, Heather for bringing cup cakes, the rest of the family for coming down and sharing this moment with us and for coming to the house to hang out for a while.

I hope at least one of the balloons made it to ya today babe.....

Yes, Lesa it did feel right. Tom and I were a little apprehensive about today, but we are so glad we joined all of you. Thanks to Deb for getting this together. Judy
Lesa, I am so glad it felt right for you and the family. It did feel good and right for me too. There is a "healing" of sorts, when all of our personal thoughts to Jeff are written on the balloons and then released to greet Jeff on his Shining Star. I think he is reading each one individually and if there was a way to send them on back to us... he would. You are so welcome Lesa..as is Judy...it was a day to remember!! I hope the Hawkeye balloon gets to him before the ISU balloon does..or I'll be hearing "MOMS" from his Star!!!
