And so it begins....

Another round of home improvements started last night. I'm the first to admit, I'm not a painter, I don't like to paint and frankly, I suck at it. But I was tired of sitting around doing nothing so I said to myself "self, let's do this."

After a quick call to mom which consisted of questions like: So, do I just pour the paint into the fancy bucket dad talked me into buying and just GO? Do I roll it on or do I use the paint brush? If I start painting, can I just do one wall or once I start I have to paint the whole room? How much paint do I put in the bucket if I just want to start with one wall? These questions had mom coming to my rescue and helping me :)

So, mom cut in while I worked the magic roller. Sh*t my arm and hand hurt today, but it's a good hurt because GD, I'm doing it!!

Below are pics of my (and mom's) progress last night...tonight I'll be cutting in the rest of the room and painting the rest of the walls. Tomorrow night will be the second coat. Yeah, I have the rest of the house to do when that one tiny room is finished. According to Allyson, it's gonna take me 5 months to complete this project. Thanks for being the head cheerleader :)
