Mid-week chat....

Hi all!! Nothing really going on, just felt like I needed to put something up here. So stay tuned for random pictures coming up :) So far it's been pretty low key. I say that and really we've been kinda busy every night. Sunday night's dinner was fantastic - coffee coated steaks, asparagus and baked potatoes. I told you that JY has started to cook like a mad person since watching the Food Network, right?? And you've seen earlier posts where I mention that I might need to mix in a salad or two every once in a while, well, this is why. He's killing me smalls.

Monday night's dinner was a new goulash recipe, it was good - not my fave and not what I grew up with (tomato juice and elbow mac) but it could grow on me..

Tuesday night JY and I had a basketball league meeting - I mentioned earlier that JY decided we were going to take over the ENTIRE league, not just I35, right?? Well, we did. So, we met with the other towns involved and made a plan...I did mention to JY that maybe we need to have sign up sometime soon, yeah, we might need to.

Tonight is gymnasty (for one) and another 'new' recipe for chili that JY found. It's got beer in it, do you think the kids should eat it?? And of course they were looking for the Cinnamon rolls that usually come with the chili, right, just like school?? The thing is, it's takes like 1.5 hours to cook and right now, at 901p, it's still not done. So, everyone had either TV dinners or left overs. Maybe left over chili tomorrow night??

I visited with Grandma Austin tonight, she ACTUALLY talked to me!! Shocked me into silence for fear she would stop talking to me. She gave me a kiss but still won't tell me she loves me. That's OK, I know she does.
