We don't stay in any place long enough for that to happen :) Saturday we had basketball (is it over yet??) in Stuart, just a short hour drive from the Young house. Ally's team won and Emily's team lost both games.
After Emily's last game was over (4pm), we hit the open road to Grandma Deb and Grandpa Bruce's house in Stanhope!! Of course we made a quick stop in Des Moines (we were driving right by!!) for coffee and a couple of other things and we were on our way. After what seems like a million years, we finally arrive just in time for dinner and a visit with cousin Noelle, cousin Sophia and Aunt Marge. Noelle figured out how to sync my blue tooth to my phone!! Visit over and we're all in bed by midnight only because I hit the wall with the TPM that I took and could no longer form words, yeah, I'm neat.
Up bright and early for Grandpa Bruce's waffles and bacon, showers, hair do's and it's off to the gymnastics meet in Stratford. It was tumbling competition today and Emily got 3rd place and Allyson got 4th place. Not bad girls!! The girls had a great following - Papa, Judy, Mikayla, Madelyn, Great Grandpa Orlyn, Grandma Deb, Granny, Grandad, Aunt Kathy, Cousin Amy, Cousin Brenna and Jay all came out just to watch the girls show off. Thanks to everyone for coming and watching the girls, they love showing off and that everyone was there for them!!
After the meet, we had a birthday party for all the February birthdays - Aden 2/17, Emily 2/20, Amy 2/20, Zachary 2/22 and Great Grandpa Orlyn 2/27 - at Grandma Deb's with lunch, presents, cake and ice cream!! What a great day!!
The girls and I headed out, made a stop in Des Moines for some groceries and home by 6p. The laundry is almost done and I'm on my way to bed.
Thanks for checking in...

Lesa-It was so nice seeing you on Saturday. Make sure you shoot me an email when you will be close by again or for that matter, whenever you want me to come visit you. Love you bunches!! Sasha
holy mackeral, girl. what a weekend.
Good job, Em and Ally, at the ballgames and gymnastics! Well done!
Lisa, nothing like family to help you through a couple of days. Sports and shopping and birthday parties and a Starbucks when you can! Well done!
One step, one day at a time.
