Today is the first day of my last week of leave. I feel like I've accomplished what I set out to do 5 weeks ago, which was to spend quality time with the girls and to remind them that, while as empty as we feel sometimes without JY, life has gone on for us and that I will always be here for them. After spending this time with the girls, for the first time since losing JY I feel like we're really going to make it and all be stronger in the long run.
I know I've said this before, but my kids are amazing. At times when I feel like I can't make it another day, they are both there holding me up and guiding me thru...when it should be I doing that for them.
This week we'll spend getting ready for school, packing the girls up for the weekend in MN for a family reunion and getting the house ready for the next round of improvements. Busy, but not as busy as last week :)
