This is the good stuff....

When I bought my 4 wheeler, I told the girls that they would never drive it without me on the back....yeah, that lasted all of a couple weeks. Ever since it's been fixed, the girls have been taking turns driving it (by themselves) in the back yard. NOW, I'm thinking in the back of my head I'm gonna need to invest in a couple more for the girls to have for themselves....Not today, mind you, just soon I'm thinking. I took some video of the girls driving last night, one kid on the 4 wheeler and one kid driving mom and dad's golf cart...it's some good stuff.

We came in the house at dark and as I was fixing the corn on the cob mom and dad shared with us, I caught some movement out of the corner of my eye. BAT!! And it was HUGE!! So, as it's flying around in a circle (kitchen to the living room to the dinning room) I'm screaming at the kids to go out the front door as I'm throwing a towel over my head (?) and heading out the back door with phone in hand calling dad to come over and take care of the stupid rat flying around my house. For the love!! I have now passed JY's 'Great Bat Hunter' title over to dad, I'm sure he loves that :) Again, good stuff.

This is the excitement we've had this week...that mixed in with a little school clothes shopping, laundry and packing to get the girls ready for their weekend away from me in MN....I'm looking forward to a little me time before I head back to work on Monday, but now that it's here, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with myself with no one else in the house to talk to all weekend long...sheesh.

Anyway, thanks for checking in....

Charlie or Charlotte?? Whatever it is thinks that my back door is a PERFECT spot to put up a web and catch bugs all night long. Creepy!

Krystal and I took the 4 wheeler out to find a little mud last night...we didn't find too much mud but we found the river....now if I could just find a way to get down in the river, we'd be set :)

Said river...the road gets a little close to the drop off. Fun stuff.

Hi girls.

I think this butterfly got all confused by the cammo shorts I had on...it couldn't see my leg :)
