Weekends go by so fast....

I am under the thinking that we should work only 2 days, get paid for 5 and have a 5 day weekend. That would just make so many people happy and loving their lot in life...yeah, I know, not gonna happen, I just need to win the lottery and then we'd all be set. I share :)

I made it a whole week at work, yay me!! It was a struggle I tell you but hey, I like the 40 hour paychecks :) What can I say, I'm easy ;) The girls seem to be enjoying school, they hardly have any homework and they are both in bed at night by 8pm which gives me some Lesa time.

Thursday, I had lunch with the BF, her son and my bestest boyfriend Brad Smith. Eventho the circumstances of him being in town weren't good, I'm glad I got to see him. Please send a prayer to him and his family.

Friday night I was in heaven....I put 31 miles on my 4 wheeler, got to play in the mud with it, DIDN'T break it and had a great time with some great friends. Saturday morning starting at 1030a, mom and I started working on getting a load ready for the dump by going thru the computer room, closet and garage. OMG, that little 9 hour job completely filled their trailer with no room to spare. **Thanks mom for the motivation, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel** After the first dump run, we'll start on the upstairs rooms, the cellar, the attic and the storage unit. After all that is done, we'll be able to paint all the rooms (volunteers who want to help a sister out, good with a paint brush and like beer are always welcome), put new carpet in most of the house, new window coverings and move the bed rooms around. Sounds like a lot, but with mom pushing me from behind, we'll get 'er done :)

Today, the girls and I went to DSM and window shopped for new beds. I know, a little ahead of ourselves, but we couldn't help it :) After that, a hair cut for me, a stop at Target, a stop for coffee and we're home. Currently, I'm waiting on the hamburger to defrost so I can make dinner and the girls are out riding in the backyard on the golf cart. Ahhhhhhh, Sunday.
