What a week!!

Since I wrote last week, I've been a busy little girl. JY decided, along with the HS bball coach, that the weekend before Chrsitmas would be a great weekend to have a youth basketball tournement. What was going to be a nice little tourney got big in a hurry!! So I spent Wednesday night (with the BFF) shopping for the concession stand - 3 hours later and we have so much stuff that Greta (the jeep) had to roll her windows down just so we could stuff more things into the poor dear. But we made it home, the BFF may not have had any leg room, but we made it home nonetheless.

Thursday was a crazy whack storm bringing ice and snow and a thunder boomer thrown in for good measure. That was a little weird. But we made it thru and didn't even lose power, all of the power lines stayed rooted to the house - thank goodness.

Friday, I had the day off to finish up my Christmas shopping. That wasn't meant to be. The girls got the day off because of the storm the night before so while they were at a friend's house, JY and I took a little driving trip and ended up spending LOTS of time getting the things I missed on Wednesday for the basketball tourney. So, I didn't get to do the things I wanted to do and I was not a happy camper. Friday evening was spent setting up the gyms and concession stand in anticipation for the long day Saturday.

Saturday morning, up and out by 7a. The first thing I did, after getting out of the car in Truro, was fall flat on my back spilling my pop all over me and hurting my wrist. JY had to help my fat a$$ up so we could start the day proper like :) It all just went down hill from there. It's a gross understatement to say it was a long day but we made good money for the league, the girls played well and we were all home and sleeping by 10p. I woke up from my sitting position on the couch at 12a, got Lare in his kennel and proceeded to fall asleep on the dinning room floor and woke up in a pile of drool at 130a, put Lylli in her kennel and made my way up to bed, FINALLY!!

Sunday I rolled out of bed at 10a and JY and I decided that we should finish up our shopping. Never mind that it's the coldest day of the year and neither one of us wore any kind of coat, 4 hours later we're back at home. Ahhhhhh.

So, I'm hoping that in the coming days it will be relaxed and family filled. Lots of memories to contend with on Christmas Eve...but we'll make it thru.

If I don't talk to you before, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!

Luv you all!
