The world keeps on turning....

I didn't write anything yesterday because mom always said "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all", so I didn't.

So, tonight I had loads of company on probably my busiest night at home. After rushing home from work, picking up the girls and getting Emily up to gymnastics practice by 545p, it was back home to get Allyson fed (thank jebus her homework was done, thanks Julie). Julie and Sophia stopped in for a visit while waiting for Sabryn to get done with her class then it was class time for Sophia and time to pick Sabryn up and then pick Sophia up and drop Allyson off. While Julie did all that, I manned the revolving door. In between all that mess, Belinda dropped by for a short visit - thanks B for stopping in to say hi. When Julie left, her car pulled out and 2 of my favorite people pulled in baring gifts. I feel loved today :) I had a nice visit with Angi and Kerry, thanks girls for coming down for a visit and talking about nothing and everything with me. I will point out here that if anyone would like to get their drunk on, I have a bottle and a box of wine to share :)

So, now I'm winding down and thinking about going to bed. The girls are still up and I get the bad mom award...it is a school night and I'm going to be paying for their not sleeping in the morning, yea me :) JL keeps saying she can't wait for the weekend...ugh, I have a full schedule this weekend. The girls power tumbling team performs at Graceland College in Lamoni on Saturday and Emily has basketball games on Sunday. It's another busy weekend for us. That's ok, busy is good.

I have a feeling a lot of people read my blog because they want to know how I'm doing and how the girls are doing. We are coping and doing the best we can to get thru the day. It hurts so much, but it will and I'm ok with that....We will be fine. Maybe not tomorrow, next week, next month or next year...but we will be, believing that keeps me going. We all love JY and we all miss him terribly. You share my pain in that.....There are no words to express my deep gratitude for all anyone and everyone has done for us. Thank you for bringing us food, cards, coming for visits, sending an email or paying for my hair cut (yes someone did that). It's the little things that so many have done that when someone else finds themselves in my position, I hope I can do half as much as what's been done for us. The support is staggering. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Luv,
L

I miss Jeffay terribly too, Hon. All of us who had the great privilege to say he was our friend and more do. Our lives will never be the same without him. But go forward we must; as he would say "Done". We will do this with the fantastic support that our friends and family has and continues to provide us. We will do this together.

luv, dad

Lesa, You know you are right, we check that blog every morning to see how you are doing from the day before. We are so glad you have continued blogging if that is a word to help us deal with all that has been thrown at us. Your Dad said all. We have to go on. We have 3 reasons to go on for Jeff- that would be Lesa, Emily and Ally. It is not an easy road, but a road we are all traveling and only hope some day that road will be come a little easier. We love you all. Judy and Tom
